Cruises
Plots
Surface plots and transect sections of physical and chemical data from cruises are provided here (Feely et al., 2024; data available from this NCEI WCOA Site). To access individual surface plots or physical and chemical sections for each of the transect lines, click on Plots and select cruise name, variable name, and surface or line number buttons to observe and download Plots. Click on the downward arrow to download the plot, and the magnifying glass to expand the view.
Animations
The interpolated ocean acidification parameters are represented as monthly mean map Animations and trends in the CCE from 1998 through 2023 (Sharp et al., 2024; data available from this NCEI Dataset. These reconstructions are produced from a machine-learning-based interpolation scheme using the Surface Ocean CO2 Atlas data product, SOCAT, along with empirical estimates of alkalinity and nutrients from seawater estimation algorithms (Carter et al., 2021).
