NANOOS is Certified as a Regional Information Coordination Entity (RICE)

NANOOS passed the requirements for Certification as a Regional Information Coordination Entity (RICE) of the federal government. Certification as a RICE means that NANOOS' governance is transparent and linked to regional priorities, our people are qualified, and our data are sound. Complying with NOAA data standards ensures the data are reliable, freely available to the public, and will be archived at NOAA’s National Centers for Environmental Information.
